世界初のツナミアイト（大規模な津波による堆積物）の研究書を12年ぶりに改訂し、2011年の東日本大震災の影響などを新たに論じる。This is an overview of the state-of-the art developments in sedimentology of tsunami-induced and tsunami-affected deposits, namely tsunamiites. New to this edition: discussion of the impact of 2011 tsunami in Northern Japan as well as additional coverage of offshore tractive current deposition and deposition of boulders.
